ONCE UPON A TIME....There Was A Fundraiser.
Reach Out And Read Connecticut is excited to announce our first major fundraising (and friend-raising) event, to take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 7:00P-10:00P at the Blackstone Memorial Library in Branford.
This is going to be a memorable and magical evening -- guests will wander the Library, visiting food and beverage stations designed to echo classic stories and fairy tales. Inspired pairings of caterers, restaurants and beverage companies with designers, party planners and artists will bring some of your favorite children's books to life. Imagine a pasta station with a Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs theme. Or a luscious collection of sweets and tarts, displayed in a scene straight out of The Queen Of Hearts nursery rhyme. This is just the beginning.
We're already celebrating the generous support of these creative sponsors: A Thyme To Cook, Cloud Nine Catering, Dagmar's Desserts, Datura - A Modern Garden, Earth2, Earth2 Edibles, Fleur de Lys, the Flower Shop at Cheshire Nursery, Ganim's Garden Center & Florist, Gira Events & Florals, Gourmet Galley, Hana Floral Design, Jordan Caterers, Jubilee Events, La Cuisine, Karen Mangiacotti-Miller, Maple Lane Farms, RIPE Craft Bar Juices, SKYY Vodka, Sheila Welling.
