Established in 2000, Reach Out and Read Louisiana has as its goal to expand throughout Louisiana and
provide training and resources necessary to put books into the hands and homes of every child.
The Coalition has expanded to:
􏰀61 ROR clinical locations affiliated with 34 healthcare organizations;
􏰀60,034 children and their families served annually;
􏰀100,116 new books prescribed annually; and
􏰀1,230 medical providers trained.
