Senator Mae Flexer Reads to Young Children in Support of Reach Out and Read

Senator Mae Flexer visited Mansfield Pediatrics on January 28 to read aloud to young children in support of Reach Out and Read. The children enjoyed listening to Senator Flexer as she read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, and Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type. Senator Flexer also presented all of the children with books to take home with them, as provided by Reach Out and Read.

"Pediatricians providing books to young children and their families is a critical investment in early learning," said state Senator Mae Flexer. "We're putting hundreds of kids on the path to success."

Thank you to Senator Flexer for your support of early literacy and the Reach Out and Read program!
