Celebrating New and Continuing Partnerships with Events This Month

Mayor's Summer Reading Club and Learn4Life Take Center Stage

Girls ROR GAWe visited with the Learn4Life team and presented information about our program to the group, which will facilitate our new partnership with the organization. Learn4Life, the Metro Atlanta Regional Education Partnership, is made up of school districts, communities, businesses, and nonprofits. Driven by a shared belief that all children deserve the opportunity to reach their potential, the organization uses data to identify best practices at key milestones in a student's education. They then work with the partners to scale these solutions, addressing academic achievement and workforce readiness for 600,000 students in metro Atlanta.

This collaborative model has yielded positive results in Cincinnati, Dallas, Minneapolis and other cities. Atlanta will be their next success story and we're thrilled to be part of it.

As part of the Mayor's Summer Reading Club, we participated in four events throughout the month at clinics from CHOA Hughes Spalding to Life Cycle pediatrics.

We participated in the CCEC Summit at the University of West Georgia at the invitation of the AHR Foundation. The Carrollton-Carroll County Education Collaborative seeks to provide an environment where we could build and develop our community network for the benefit of our children.
