The Reach Out and Read Online Orientation for Volunteers is intended to be completed as a whole, from start to finish. Each section is expected to take one hour or less to complete.
This Orientation is structured in much the same way as the main ROR website. Links to topics outside of the Orientation are always available at the top and bottom of every page. These Navigation Instructions and the Table of Contents are accessible from the top right corner of your screen. Topics related to both the Coordinator and Volunteer portions of the Orientation, such as Downloads and a Glossary of common ROR terms, are available along the bottom of every page.
In order to return to the main website, simply click on the ROR logo or text at the top left corner of your screen. To return to the Welcome page of the Orientation, click on the "Online Orientation" header above the navigation bars on the left, and just below the ROR logo. The Volunteer navigation bars are available on the left side of your screen, along with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for both areas. To start, simply click on the appropriate navigation bar.
At the end of each page, click on the red "Next" arrow to proceed. Now select the Volunteer START arrow to continue with the Orientation.
