Your donations have helped us to promote early literacy to 3.5 million children and distribute more than 5.7 million books in the last year alone. Recent gifts have been received from: The customers, employees, and leaders of Sovereign Bank, who participated in a Holiday Book Drive in 750 branches in nine states. The Sovereign Bank Foundation kicked off the annual drive at a Philadelphia Eagles game in November with a halftime donation of $10,000 to ROR. In this, the fifth year of the ROR/Sovereign partnership, $40,000 was contributed to help put books in the hands of children. The Annenberg Foundation, which awarded a grant of $50,000 to help support ROR in Los Angeles County, which currently serves more than 136,000 children through 106 Sites. BAE Systems and the American Legion Child Welfare Fund, flagship sponsors of ROR's Military Initiative. These two organizations, dedicated to military families, will support the ROR program and help to provide books at the 30 ROR Sites on military bases.   Return
