John began work on July 14 and will lead ROR until a long-term successor is named. John is one of the nation's most experienced specialists in the field of interim nonprofit leadership. He has worked in the nonprofit and public interest sector during his entire 35-year career. Following 22 years as a public interest attorney, he served for six years as the first full-time chief executive at The Glaucoma Foundation. Subsequently, he decided to specialize as an interim chief executive, and has served in that capacity for six other nonprofit organizations, four of which have missions of national scope.
