Robert Needlman, Perri Klass, and Barry Zuckerman accept the Dale Richmond/Justin Coleman Award from Dr. Michelle Macias, Chair of the AAP Section on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, on behalf of Reach Out and Read.      ROR, Dr. Barry Zuckerman, Dr. Steve Holve Receive Major Awards at AAP Annual Meeting In October, Reach Out and Read and its leaders were recognized with three major awards at the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP). First, ROR received the 2008 Dale Richmond/Justin Coleman Award, which is presented each year by the AAP's Section on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics to recognize outstanding contributions in child development. Drs. Barry Zuckerman, Perri Klass, and Robert Needlman accepted the award on behalf of ROR. Dr. Barry Zuckerman was also presented with the 2008 C. Anderson Aldrich Award, in recognition of his substantial work in the field of Dr. Marilyn Augustyn, Medical Director of ROR-Massachusetts, presents the C. Anderson Aldrich Award to Dr. Barry Zuckerman.      child development. The Aldrich Award is given for career achievement to a physician who has made major contributions to the field of pediatrics. Finally, Dr. Steve Holve (co-Medical Director of ROR's American Indian/Alaskan Native Coalition) received the Native American Child Health Advocacy Award, in recognition of his significant contributions to Native American children's health.   Return
