Forty-eight Members of Congress visited a ROR program during the August Congressional recess. Due to the early success of the August Campaign, we are extending it through the end of the year. If you have not yet reached out to your Members of Congress with invitations to visit your ROR program, we encourage you to do so now. Your assistance is key to our ongoing efforts to advocate for federal funding in support of ROR Programs around the country. As you know, Site visits are a great way for your elected officials to get to see, first-hand, the important work that you do. We have seen time and time again that when legislators see ROR in action in their district or state, they are much more likely to support the program in specific, tangible ways when they return to Congress.
