This year, Scholastic Book Clubs' ClassroomsCare program will donate 350,000 books to Reach Out and Read.      Send us your ClassroomsCare Photos and Testimonials! As you may know, Scholastic Book Clubs have dramatically increased the number of ClassroomsCare books that they will be donating to Reach Out and Read this year to 350,000! In May, ROR Sites nationwide will begin receiving these donated books directly from Scholastic, and we want to make sure that we recognize Scholastic Book Clubs for its generosity! One of the best ways we can do that is to collect as many pictures and testimonials as we can from our Sites and share those with Scholastic. So please, when you receive your shipment of books, take a photo of the books with your doctors and nurses and some of the children you serve and email the photos to Matt Ferraguto. Of course, you should make sure to get signed photo releases from anyone in the photo! Photo release forms (English and Spanish) may be found in the Media Resources section on myROR.org. The other way in which you can help us thank Scholastic is to write a brief testimonial about what the books mean to your Site and the children you serve. These can be brief – one or two sentences is fine! The more detail about your Site and the children you serve, the better!
