Reach Out and Read would not be possible without the passion and the service of the more than 28,000 primary care providers who make Reach Out and Read a standard part of the high quality pediatric care they deliver. Nor would it be possible without the support and the dedication of thousands of clinical staff nationwide. Because they all volunteer the time they spend promoting early literacy and school readiness through the Reach Out and Read model, we are able to serve nearly 4 million children and families nationwide for a fraction of what it would cost any other organization.

Reach Out and Read is proud that both the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) have officially endorsed the Reach Out and Read model of early literacy promotion.
