Reach Out and Read

Legislators often visit Reach Out and Read Programs when they are in their home state or district. A visit to a Reach Out and Read Program allows legislators to see, first-hand, the Reach Out and Read model in action, and also provides them with the opportunity to serve as volunteer readers by reading aloud to children in the waiting room.

Check out the Members of Congress who have served as volunteer readers in the last year!
